Erik Johnson

Founder

Erik Johnson is a healthcare executive with over 13 years of experience in medical sales, marketing, and operational leadership. He has built a career focused on expanding access to care, strengthening provider relationships, and leading teams that deliver meaningful impact for patients and communities.

Most recently, Erik served as Executive Director of Missouri Palliative & Hospice Care (MPHC), where he was responsible for guiding organizational strategy, overseeing operations, and advancing the company’s mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Prior to that role, he served as Community Relations Director, developing referral networks, fostering partnerships with healthcare providers, and increasing awareness of palliative and hospice services.

Earlier in his career, Erik held a sales management position in the rapidly growing field of neuromodulation. In that role, he contributed to expanding access to innovative medical treatments for patients with neurological and brain-related disorders, helping improve both patient outcomes and provider adoption of emerging therapies.

Throughout his career, Erik has demonstrated a leadership style centered on service, relationship-building, and continuous improvement. He has worked closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure clear communication, high standards of care, and strong alignment between operational execution and patient needs.

Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University and has pursued graduate-level studies toward a Master of Science in Management with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration and Human Resources Management.

Erik and his wife reside in Lawrence, Kansas, where he is the proud parent of two daughters — his oldest currently attending Colorado State University and his youngest at the University of Kansas. When he’s not working, Erik enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid mountain biker, as well as a fan of hunting, fishing, and boating. Above all, he values time with his family and considers it his greatest priority.
